My question pertains to the Asterisk/Star on the back, left of the TCG(copyright). I have both variations, but I've never seen them encased as variations.
1. Are they even acknowledged as variations/errors?
2. Is there any info on the web about these?
3. Are there any encased, and has anyone seen them?
4. Would PSA/SGC/BVG re-slab them as variations?

Any information is greatly appreciated.

Below are scans of both cards/backs.

I'd have to check with the grading crew to be sure but if its a recognized hobby variation it can be slabbed by BGS with the notation of the variation. This of course is if its a hobby recognized issues thats been agreed on by the hobby. If its something just a novelty few pay attention to, well I just saw an undocumented PSA 8 variation sale for $20 elsewhere. No notation on slab but seller listed it as such.

FYI no scans are showing
