I've Decided To Start a Dave/David Archer PC

I've Decided To Start a Dave/David Archer PC
Friends,

Long story short, Dave Archer was the quarterback for my hometown Sacramento Surge when they won the WLAF championship in 1992.

He also played in the NFL prior to that and in the CFL after that, where he had a productive career.

Championships have been very difficult to come by in Sacramento (the Monarchs of the WNBA once won one as well), so I'm starting an Archer PC.

Only trick is, sometimes he's listed as "Dave" and sometimes he's listed as "David" on his cards.

So far, I have two 1992 WLAF cards of Archer, one from Ultimate Trading Cards and one from Wild Card.

Here are the other ones I'm looking for:

NFL Cards:

- 1986 McDonald's Falcons #16 (any color, with tab attached preferred)
- 1986 Topps #361 David Archer RC
- 1987 Topps #249 David Archer
- 1987 Topps Stickers #56 David Archer/ 206 Art Still
- 1990 Chargers Smokey #15 David Archer

CFL Cards:

- 1993 JOGO #109 David Archer
- 1994 JOGO #275 David Archer
- 1994 Sacramento Gold Miners Smokey #2 David Archer
- 1995 JOGO #49 David Archer
- 1995 R.E.L. #194 David Archer
- 1996 JOGO #110 David Archer

Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Happy Holidays!

RJ

Good luck! I'll keep my eyes open, but not sure I've ever seen any of them lol

The cool thing is, this should be attainable ... there aren't a million parallels or endless new products to chase.

A couple of the oddball cards and Canadian stuff will probably end up just being bought online, but I enjoy the challenge of trying to trade for them first.

Alright RJ, I found some. Question is, do you want to be surprised or do you want to know now so you can try to source the rest?

You only have 22 cards to go after, but it won't be easy.
COMC: 1986 Topps, 1987 Topps, 1992 Wild Card WL
SportLots: 1987 Topps Stickers, 1992 Wild Card WL, 1992 Ultimate WLAF
only different one on EBAY: 1994 JOGO ($17.94, 3x value)

Your going to have trouble with the oddball and the Wild Card Stripes.

Best of luck on your endeavor.
I collect Andre Johnson, JJ Watt, Redskins who played in the 70’s & 80’s, HOF’ers and Texas A&M Aggies.
Email: rbredskin@windstream.net
No trading outside the U.S.

I'm not doing the stripes or the different McDonald's tabs, and I already have both WL cards.

There are a couple of dealers on here that have most of the CFL stuff.

And I sure as hell am staying away from COMC, it took me almost 3 weeks to get an eBay order and it takes everyone else several months to get regular orders.

I sourced the 86 and 87 Topps cards, 87 Topps sticker, 92 Ultimate WLAF, and 92 Wild Card WLF. As soon as I have everything organized I'll have those shipped out.
