Eventually, most of the 2017 team will be dispersed throughout the league (trades, free agency, etc) and over the years the taint of their cheat should be dispersed as well.
Like it was mentioned elsewhere, if these players perform near to their apparent ability, everything will be fine. If they show a dramatic decline in their offensive abilities over the next 2 years, they will be wearing the "I Cheated" sign around their neck(s) forever.
