Awesome Piazza Pull out of Series 2 Blaster
Happy Holidays, Friends.
So while I was out Christmas shopping I picked up a blaster of 2019 Series 2 Topps to take one last shot at a Vladdy Jr. SP.
No dice, but I got a very nice consolation prize ...

A Mike Piazza gold manufactured relic/150!
But here's the best part ... upon further inspection, it was numbered 031/150 on the back, and as we all know, #31 is his jersey number!

Another nice retail pull by RJ! Congrats...even though Piazza will always be Dodger Blue for me.

I've always had a connection to Piazza, because his rookie season in 1993 was my freshman year at USC ... like we were the "new kids in town" LOL
I graduated in May of 1997, and Piazza got traded to Florida on my birthday like a week later, so it was totally like our "careers" in LA lasted the exact same amount of time.
What I like about this card is that not only is his jersey number confirmed, well, on his jersey, but also on his wristband.
