2019-20 Prizm Draft INSANE 1/2 Case

2019-20 Prizm Draft INSANE 1/2 Case
https://youtu.be/fq9QxfUZ0d0

The only thing I can tell you is that the guy breaking is the owner of Layton Sports Cards. The hits just kept coming and coming and coming. Him and his wife get to the point where they're just laughing at how much got pulled. The kid who got the Pelicans cleaned house.

My man needs to lay off the blade. Not to mention just jamming those cards into the penny sleeve!
OK, so I watched (most of) the video at work, with the sound off, and didn't see every second of every minute.

Unless I missed it, the best auto was the RJ Barrett, correct?

And I believe I saw 9 total Zion cards, the best being a Crusade parallel/49 and a silver prizm of the base variation, correct?

I know I did see the following:

- 3 Chris Clemons autos
- 2 Aric Holman autos
- 2 Corey Davis Jr. autos
- 2 Marques Bolden autos
- 2 Tremont Waters autos

So right there is two boxes' worth (out of 8 boxes in the lot) of autos on 5 guys that I'm pretty sure won't play a minute combined in the NBA.

Man, I just don't see it.

Like, whoever bought these boxes might be able to sell the Zions and break even.

I get that Panini can't put a Zion auto in every box, but even for them this is awful collation.

I am not sure why you keep promoting Layton Sports Cards. There are hundreds of breakers out there, and it is okay to mention something you saw worthy of the break cost, but this is probably the 4th or 5th Layton video you have posted on Beckett. Are you getting a commission?? LOL

My bigger concern is the lack of appeal among the autos.

Again, I didn't see every minute of the break, but I swear the only drafted players that I saw autos of were RJ Barrett, Tacko Fall and two Kevin Porter autos.

There was a lot of color and there were a good amount of Zion cards in this break, but it seems ludicrous that Panini can get away with so many UDFA autos, especially with the insane box prices.

I kind of got talked into busting the last three boxes of Prizm Draft at our local. Cost was $289.00 per box.

I got one auto of P J Cunningham and the rest only their momma's would know who they are. Several were of players who played in Europe and I am not sure if they will ever be on this side of the Atlantic.

Total waste of money and if the rest of this years product is like this, you can count me out.

What is that old saying " a FOOL and his money?" Yes, I was the fool but I kept thinking this has to get better. IT DID NOT!

HAHA no. But I would love a suggestion on other good breakers. Layton tends to do only nights and I like having something on for background noise. Would love input. I've watched Steel City and can't stand them. Jabs Family has a weird system where you have to pay a monthly fee through an app just to see when he is breaking and then still have to buy in. But I love his baseball knowledge.

I think you're more right than I am. I asked this very same question about 2019 Topps Chrome baseball. All the low-level rookies I have tons of their autos. And for all the jumbo boxes I bought, the ONLY good auto was an Aaron Judge. That was it. So I started wondering on no-serial numbered autos....are there like 5 Cedric Mullins to every one Aaron Judge? How would I even find out or know?

Exactly my point ... Panini put 3 Chris Clemons autos in 8 total boxes.

I think it's safe to say nobody is going to pull 3 Zion autos out of 8 boxes anywhere.

Two issues with that ... one, you're stuck with 3 basically worthless autos, and two, why couldn't the collation be better so that you at least pull, say, a Tyler Herro and a Jarret Culver instead of your second and third Clemons autos?

Furthermore, to your point, it makes me think that the inserted auto ratios are waaaay off ... like, there's 50,000 Clemons autos and only 5,000 Zion autos for example.

I busted a solo rack pack of this stuff last night and the best card (by far) was a Barrett All-American.

I also busted a blaster of Contenders Draft when I was in Michigan last month and pulled the School Colors cards of Zion and Reddish, so now I at least have the Big 3 covered from Duke, LOL

If you want to watch anytime, SportsBoxBreaks puts out videos on YouTube from the prior nights' breaks. Baseball, Football, Basketball, but they don't sell out as quickly as some of the larger breakers.

I'll add them to my subscriptions. Recommend a couple of these "larger breakers" you referenced. I always love having breaks on in the background when doing homework but watching only Layton I run out of videos pretty fast.

You don't have to sign up to watch their videos...one guy is in Vegas (tech specialist not sports affluent) and the other in Pennsylvania.
