Hello fine Beckett community Im conflicted would it be bad practice to wrap my boxes of baseball cards in Saran Wrap for long term storage ? Cards are all sleeved Ive also placed dehydration pill packs in each box please any advise would be appreciated Ive collected for years but am finally putting them to bed for awhile for the first time

I'm not sure if Saran Wrapping your cards is good or bad. I guess that would depend on the climate the cards were to be stored. Hot attic, damp basement, inside a temperature controlled house, etc.

Thank you for your reply my cards will never be far from me lol so they will be in my spare room closet I couldnt imagine not being under the same roof just curious covering all bases dust bugs air lol I love cards and collecting them want to keep fresh as long as possible

I would think you would be better off storing your boxes in plastic storage containers. Ziploc make s a variety of sizes, waterproof, weatherproof, dust proof, insect proof. Just Google them.

I have some 1930's era St Louis Cardinals World Series memorabilia that I store in a Sterilite tote I bought from Target. They're inexpensive, but very well made and lock down real nice. They offer many different sizes as well.
