2017 Select hobby box break
This was a pretty good box to me for $35. I'd have been upset if I got this box for full price though. Out of the 60 cards in the box, I got 35 base and 25 inserts/parallels. Fourteen of them are PC cards (8 base and 6 inserts/parallels, including a "hit"). I pulled 4 SP base cards (#'s 101-140) and one was a Jimmie card! The other three were Harvick, Keselowski and Richard Petty.

Here are the inserts:
Select Stars: Martin (PC), Danica (PC), D. Waltrip
Speed Merchants: Danica (PC), Almirola, Allmendinger
Speed Merchants Tie-Die Prizm SN24: Bayne (PC)
Up Close & Personal: Kurt Busch

Here are the serially numbered parallels:
Blue Prizm SN199: Cole Custer
Red Prizm SN99: Trevor Bayne (PC)
Red, White and Blue Pulsar Prizm SN299: McMurray and Bowyer
White Prizm SN50: Brandon Jones

For anyone interested, the regular Prizm parallels were:
33 - Truex Jr., 37 - Logano, 52 - C. Elliott, 76 - Annett, 80 - Harvick, 90 - Allgaier, 94 - JH Nemechek

Finally, the "hits":
Select Swatches Prizm: Josh Wise
Select Swatches Blue Prizm SN199: Austin Dillon
Select Pairs Blue Prizm SN199: Dale Jr./Kahne tires (PC)
Signatures Prizm: AJ Allmendinger
Signatures Red Prizm SN25: Brendan Gaughan

For the price I paid, I feel like I got my money's worth of cards. I'm happy with so many non-base PC cards. The AU's and RUs could've been much better, but I guess they could have been worse too. At least I got one keeper and one low-SN AU. In the end, I'd buy another box at that price, IF I was looking to buy any boxes right now. This box was part of my purchase with a $50 D&A CardWorld Gift Certificate. I bought a bunch of storage/shipping supplies along with the box and only spent $16 of my own money. Shipping was $9.95, so that was most of the money that I spent.

Always looking for: Ozzie Smith/Stan Musial/Lou Brock/STL Cardinals, NFL-CAR/GB/NE and NASCAR-Jimmie Johnson/Mark Martin

It WAS funny to pull a baseball card from a NASCAR box! At first I was confused. Big Grin

Definitely Beckett. I'm surprised they even bother to add checklists of new products and price (some of) them.
