How bad are counterfeits messing up the market?

How bad are counterfeits messing up the market?
Just wondering, how bad are the counterfeits messing with the BB card market? Is eBay stopping any of it? Is Beckett making people aware of counterfeits? I have not seen this many before.
Here is one:

I am confused. Do you not realize that this is an actual reprint card made by Topps? There are many legitimate reprints of cards and this is one of them...not a counterfeit.

Am I on Candid Camera?

I saw a reprint card of 1975 Brett, with a foil stamp on the front and on the back was printed on the card that it was reprinted by Topps. I am asking about a different card, Please tell me which Topps packs had this 75 Brett mini reprint in it with a dark brown back and does not say reprint on the back. I think you are talking about this card:

Here is another, probably counterfeit at $2, Brett card:

I have done some research. There are many Topps Brett Rookie reprint cards as chase cards in the sets. All seem to have markings that would indicate they are reprints BY TOPPS.

2014 Silver Framed (plus, foil-stamped numbered x/199)
2016 Berger's Best # BB-24
2017 Rediscover Topps #RT6 but not actually numbered
There are a few other rookie card look-a-likes, one is 5x7 and 2 are Chromium.
But I do not find this card to be printed by Topps:

nor the initial mini card I asked about. I ordered 2 different mini "reprints", one for $2 and the other for $5. I will get a refund by eBay if either is counterfeit.

I am contacting Topps to see if they have reprinted a mini as a chase card in any set.

Anyone see AliBaba ads?

Are these what people are selling on eBay? I have seen many faked Magic: the Gathering cards.

How does Beckett treat a counterfeit card that is submitted for grading? Destroy it? Return it? Return it marked COPY? Refund grading fee?
Thanks. I don't seem to be getting a lot of answers.

There are now a ton of fakes on eBay. A lot of sellers list them as "reprint" or "RP", but they are not truly reprints from the original manufacturer but reprinted by some random guy who is hoping they the can dupe someone into paying for a fake card. Be very careful when browsing eBay for vintage cards of superstars selling for super low prices. Nobody is selling mint condition vintage star rookies for a few dollars each, however there are plenty of people selling fakes and calling them reprints.
Check the listing carefully to make sure it doesn't say "reprint" or "RP" in it somewhere. Also make sure you're familiar with the look and feel of the vintage cards, in case you get one you will know right away and be able to return it.
As for how BGS treats them, they will simply return them with a note stating they are suspected to be fake. I am not 100% certain, but I don't believe you get a refund.

I don't see what the problem is with the Brett card. Clear states in the title that it is a REPRINT. If he was trying to sell it as an original and it was fake that would be different. A lot of buyers like these 'cause it makes think look like they have the real thing when there is no way they could afford one.

The problem is that it's not technically a reprint, but rather a fake. A reprint implies that the original manufacturer printed additional copies. This is not the case for the majority of the ones on eBay that people sell as "reprints". The next problem is that the cards aren't marked as reprints in any way. So while the person buying on eBay might honestly be buying to show off to friends, what happens when they are done with the card. A lot of times the card eventually makes it's way back into the hobby and an unwitting person buys it not knowing it's a "reprint"/fake.
