I was really into collecting 10-12 years ago as a young teen and have been out of it for maybe 7 years. The Tim Hortons cards reminded me how much I enjoyed collecting so I'm thinking of picking up the hobby again.
What's the set or series that in your opinion has the best "bang for your buck". With nice hits and some valuable. I collected Upper Deck series 1-2 back in the day and while I enjoyed those, sets like SPX, AP Authentic and Artifacts seemed really cool but out of the budget for 12-13 year old me. What would you recommend? I saw a video of someone breaking a 16-17 O-Pee-Chee Platinum that looked cool and got a sick Laine Rookie Auto, but as a kid I remember OPC was kinda lame.
