1996 Classic NFL Experience X inserts

1996 Classic NFL Experience X inserts
These have obvious serial numbers on the back, but Beckett's database makes no mention of that. They don't even list them as having a specific print run.

http://www.beckett.com/football/1996/cla...oe-2124484 <--Serial 0383

http://www.beckett.com/football/1996/cla...ng-2124482 <--Serial 1435

http://www.beckett.com/football/1996/cla...th-2124485 <--Serial 0958

http://www.beckett.com/football/1996/cla...ay-2124480 <--Serial 0861

I'm assuming the serial numbers go up to at least 2000 because I have one that is numbered 1920 on the back, but without any more information I can't be sure.

Anyone have some insight on these?

TIA

There was a lot of that in the 90's. Especially with Collectors Edge.

1992 Collectors Edge: https://www.beckett.com/football/1992/co...no-2013783

1993 Collectors Edge:

Goes on and on with Collectors Edge and there is no mention of print/serial numbers. Probably such high runs it is insignificant to values.
I collect Andre Johnson, JJ Watt, Redskins who played in the 70’s & 80’s, HOF’ers and Texas A&M Aggies.

Right, but for that first one, for example, this comes up:

"This 250-card standard-size set was issued in two series of 175 and 75 cards, respectively. Cards were issued six per pack. The cards are printed on plastic stock and production quantities were limited to 100,000 of each card; with every card individually numbered on the back."

So yeah, 100,000 is a lot of cards and definitely wouldn't have an impact on value. I'm just interested in knowing because I have a database of all of my cards with all the information listed for them (year, set, insert, parallel, number, serial number, etc, etc), so that is why I would like the info.

I wonder if I can find it anywhere.

The Experience X had a print run of 1500.
With 20+ years collecting, this is the most comprehensive single player collection in the world! Beckett lists 4000+ cards - I'm at 95% completion!

Then explain how there are serial numbers over 1500.

I have seen several with serial number over 1500, but nothing at 2,000 or above. My guess would be the print run is somewhere around 2,000.
Collecting John Stockton, Karl Malone, Ivan Rodriguez, Gary Carter & UF player rookie year cards.  Plus Jedd Gyorko rookie and prospect cards.

Yeah, likewise.

2,000 is actually fairly low print run for a set from 1996.

Sorry about that...I just printed the information off an older Tuff Stuff Annual. I guess they were wrong. The "insert rate" was also different from the Beckett description.

No worries. I'll just have to assume 2,000 for now.

Not sure my Marino is of 249 and my Emmitt is of 1450 so I have none over 1500.
