What would you do???
Looking for anyone's opinion on a redemption. I redeemed a Heritage dual auto club house collection of Billy Williams and Andre Dawson about 3 or 4 years ago. Would you hold out any hope of ever getting that card. Or would you request a substitute card now. I realize that both of those players are HOF's and the substituted card might not have 2 HOF or even 1 HOF auto on it. Just looking for someone to give me the right answer so I can hit the Sub request button.....

Call the company direct and bargain for a decent substitution.

Depends on whether you really want that specific card or not. I am very patient and have some outstanding redemptions that are many years old now, but I also really want those specific cards if they are ever made. If you don't care about the specific card then I would definitely call them to see if you could make a request for at least specific player(s)/team(s) to get.

If I had waited 4 years, I would call and try to get something now of comparable value. I would want to try and get something while I still can.
Collecting 2010 Bowman, 80s oddball rookies, and '89 Griffeys.

Well I called Topps to try and dictate a good replacement. And basically I was told that all I could do was hit the submit button on the redemption page of the web site. There was no talking to them about a particular player of team. So I guess I am going to leave it up to the Baseball GODS and see why I get. I will let everyone know when I receive the replacement card what a Billy Williams and Andre Dawson dual auto is worth.....
