I'm not saying anyone would ever do this, but how hard would it be to stamp cards with a "1/1" in gold foil, hypothetically asking? Sometimes I think, "I just saw that card a couple days ago!" on an auction site, but the "1/1" is in a different place--per my memory. I wish the factory would cover it with something that was unique and harder to find than a stamp at a craft store.

I hear ya. That's why, before I buy a card or even make an offer, I do my research. I check Worthpoint, I check COMC, and then I check Beckett. It was easy, because Beckett lists this as the "xfractor 1/1". It wouldn't be hard at all to stamp a base card with a 1/1, but that's why I do my research first .
