How is 2015 topps 701 cards?
Series 1 goes from 1-351 excluding card 7 for a total for a total of 350 cards
Series 2 goes from 352-701 for a total of 349 cards.
349+350=699 cards. So where do the extra 2 cards come from?

Your math is a little off. Series 1 = 350 cards, (numbered 1-351 because Topps skipped #7). The math is essentially (351-1-0=350) (last card number in set, minus the one number that Topps skipped, minus the number of cards that were in the previous set. Since this is Series 1, there are no previous sets).
For the number of cards in Series 2, the math is (701-351=350) (last card number in Series 2, minus the last numbered card in the previous set). There's no need to account for the skipped card again, that's already covered in Series 1.

It is a 700 card set, 1-701, with card number 7 not included.

Can you dumb this down a little more as I am not following it really well. Why are you counting card 351 as series 2 when it was the last card in series 1.

Ok lets say it is a 700 card set. Lets look at the facts
Series 1 goes from card 1- card 351 but since there is no card 7 the card 351 essentially becomes card 350.
This means that in effect that series 1 has 350 cards.
Series 2 goes from card 352- card 701. This series did not skip any cards.
352-452= 100 cards
452-552= 100 cards
552-652= 100 cards
652-701= 49 cards
Grand total cards is 350 for series 1 and 349 for series 2 for a grand total of 699 cards.
And now I have a different total of cards then when I first posted this thread. But it still does not add up to 700 cards.

Dumbing this down for you. The way you are thinking . . .
352-452 = 100 cards.
Nope.
That's like saying 1-11 is 10 cards when in actuality it is 11 cards.

RE: How is 2015 topps 701 cards?
So is this correct then?
352-451= 100 cards
452-551= 100 cards
552-651= 100 cards
652-701 = 50 cards
For a grand total 350 cards. Added to the 350 from series 1 would make it 700.

The key is that you don't simply subtract, but rather you count. In other words, when you count out 10 cards you start with 1 and end with 10, thus cards 1-10 = 10 cards.

This was painful to watch unfold.
