Wrong sport, but my favorite garage sale find ever was a $5 plastic grocery bag full of ripped 1980-81 Topps basketball panels, where three players actually make up one card.

I looked through all of them carefully and was able to find the correct panels for the Magic-Bird RC (with Dr. J as the third wheel.)

Even though they were separated, when I put them in a screwdown together, you can't even tell.

Not bad for $5!

^ Sweet find, I also have that card and it's a beauty. Treasure hunting is where it's at for me as I am not much of a set builder or single player collector.
