A funny story about Deuce. When I was younger I didnt know the difference between retail and hobby so I bought a box of 2001 Pacific Impressions hoping to pull a Mike Vick (which I did) but I also pulled Deuces RC. I checked my beckett magazine and the value was either $50 or $30 at the time and I was ecstatic. My friend liked Deuce so I sold it to him for a good penny and was thinking of which Marino Id buy with the $. Well about a year passed and I finally realized the hobby version is on canvas and what I pulled was the blue back retail version. I had to admit the mistake and pay my friend back and told him just to keep the card as it booked for $3 or maybe $5. Funny part he was upset more than me because he thought he had something special. Good times. I was 17 at the time. Wow.
