I would really appreciate help on the question of what pen and/or marker to use for an autograph on a baseball and then a baseball card. I have read many different opinions on the matter. What I have gathered is that for a baseball card a Staedtler ball or medium point pen is best and then for a baseball a blue ball point pen, anyone agree or disagree? Sharpie's are popular, but to me it seems as an even split to use those for an autograph on a baseball. ANY AND ALL HELP IS APPRECIATED!

I don't like ball-point for cards because of the indent it leaves.
