Why are 1948 leaf baseball cards not on Beckett site?

Are you sure what you're asking about are 1948's??? I looked in my 2005 edition of Beckett's Almanac, and there are no 1948's listed, but there is a 1949 Leaf listing.

You are right I bought some cards from heritage auction last week and cards were listed as 1948 leaf. After reading your reply looked up the cards again and they are actually a 1948-49 set

Ok, I probably would have thought all 1949, but it could be I suppose. I would be interested in seeing them if you scan front and backs. Thanks.

That's communication.

I appreciate Chicago players that begin competing within the city's sports organizations and stay with these teams throughout their careers.

RE: 1948 leaf baseball
SGC lists as 48-49 as the set was released over the course of the two years.

For instance there is a sweet Spahn like that but Beckett will not recognize it as a rookie card instead only the 48 Bowman like in my avatar.
