I think baseball's unwritten rules are stupid.
HOWEVER. I hope Jose Tabata gets absolutely drilled by the next pitch he sees from a Nats pitcher. Down 6 runs, 2 strikes, 2 outs in the 9th and you lean in to take one off of the elbow pad? It's one thing to not move or to lean in if one base runner could sway the tide of the game, but to lean in is pretty cheap. 
It def looked intentional. I don't follow the Bucos so I don't know much about Tabata, but it was a dick move.
If it's a 1 or even 2-run game, I've got no problem with it. Or if it was earlier in the game. But not when you're down to your last strike. Heck, I don't even have a problem with it if you don't move out of the way, but leaning into it is pretty shady.
Jose tabata is a complete scum bag! What kind of a jerk would pull that crap?!?!?!?!

Just now saw the HBP and that was completely bush league. I hope Tabata is out of a job by the end of the season. No class.
Max should have never throw a pitch inside....common sense. That's why he was pissed
