Does this auction look fishy to you guys?

RE: Does this auction look fishy to you guys?
Yeah,I always suspect foul play when someone with a rating that low does something like that. In my experience, every person who has bid on my auctions, low or high, with low feedback, never fails to screw me and not pay. But maybe that's just me lol. That is crazy how much disparity there is between the teams.

It's not ALWAYS shilling. All it takes is two psychos and you're going to pay. There are 4 guys in the world that collect Marino cards at an alarming rate and when 2 or more are involved with one auction it gets really ridiculous. I could see how someone who didn't know that would think it's a shill. 4, 6 even 10 X book isn't unheard of for the rarer stuff.

Instead you can bid up your own stuff you ship to him to peddle.
There is no way that auction would sell that high. I know it's america's team.....
Another goody...

All legitimate bids.

Seems to be shilling to me. Bidders history tend to prove that!
Wants:
2006 Bowman Sterling Red Refractors #RB1 JSY Reggie Bush 1/1
2006 SP Authentic Rookie Autographed NFL Logo Patches #252 JSY AU Reggie Bush 1/1
2006 Topps Red Hot Rookies Autographs #RB Reggie Bush/10

Typically, if someone satisfies one of two categories, and also has a low feedback rating under your suspicions from the original post, I consider it highly fishy:

1. They normally bid on "Tide Laundry Detergent and baby formula, and then they suddenly bid $1,150 on a Montana Rookie

2. When searching the old "Items bid by bidder", if one of these bidders has bid on 12-13 items from the same seller, but won none of them.

These are not 100% proof, but they are definitely telling.

If you take a look at the bidders on this auction:

c***y has bid on one seller all but three times (Hmmmm)
2***z has bid on one seller all but one time
a***1 really loves seller 3
j***1 really loves seller 2

and so on

What you have is people bidding up their own items and their friends items on a consigners' auction.

It's one of the reasons I try my best to stay away from auctions if I can.
