team sets
If you are doing a PC of team sets do you think you need to have the (SP) cards to have the whole set?

RE: team sets
For me it would be yes unless its a variation. For example, if I was doing Heritage and Ginter I would have to include all the (SP) cards for my base set. If I was doing Topps base and there was a "signing autos" variation I would not include the variation if I was just doing the base set. This is just my opinion. It all up to you what you want to do.
Collecting Phillies base cards from 1950-present
Collecting all catcher prospect and rookie cards

RE: team sets
Me too. If I was doing a team set, I would just need one card of each player. Short prints, yes, variations, no.
I collect Hall of Fame baseball player cards and cards of current and retired superstars.
