Check there feedback to see if the active traders or not. You don't really want to trade with people who don't communicate.
By "message", do you mean "comments"? Most of traders I have not heard back from do not accept PM's. Or is there another way of getting them a message that I am not aware of yet. (Quite possible, I have only been here a few months.)

You have to copy their user name and come back to the forums. Then paste that name into a PM there. I could be wrong but I believe going the other route doesn't work that often.
