RE: Some "September call-ups" for my PC
Once I've got a little more free time, I'll add some more of my recent additions. Namely some more non 1/1 rainbows. But wanted to show off this week's adds.

Bowman Chrome Red Refractor /5 and Topps Chrome Red Refractor /25Once I've got a little more free time, I'll add some more of my recent additions. Namely some more non 1/1 rainbows. But wanted to show off this week's adds.

You most certainly did and thanks.

My collecting has been a bit more scatterbrained lately. For a while I was hyper-focused - break some retail from time to time, but really work on my Max Kepler PC.

But then that market dried up. Or should I say got too overpriced for what's out there that I still need? Either way, I branched out a lot more and bought more stuff I could've lived without, but it's been fun.

Once these little side quests are complete, then I'll hopefully regain an area to focus on ... "Twins" is pretty broad. lol

Been a while since I've updated. There's been plenty of new stuff, but here's a few of the highlights. Hoping to get some more pictures this weekend.

Some MVP/Cy Young rookie love

RE: Standing PC additions: Early December Edition
Wow! You've been busy, my man!
All great! I've been buying 2008 boxes hoping to land more Kershaw. Nothing great for me except the Tristar. Those are nice pickups. Did you get them off eBay, or pack pulled? I think I bought 3 more boxes coming in today. Wish me luck!
Kershaw & Bumgarner ... Can't go wrong! Stock up before they go higher!

I guess if I saved used tinfoil and used tea bags instead of old comic books and old baseball cards, the difference between a crazed hoarder and a savvy collector is in that inherent value.

I traded for one or two of the Kershaws, but the majority of them I bought off of Sportlots and through one of the Facebook groups. I think the most I paid for any individual card was $12. If I were to guess, the average price I paid was less than $2 per card (including shipping). Although many of those I got for less than $1.

As for Bumgarner - they were pretty much giving them away. I traded for the Topps and the rest I bought off of Sportlots. Including shipping, I paid $21 for the other 26 cards - I believe the actual total for the cards was about $7 and then it was $14 to have them shipped. I made out like a bandit on that Game 6 postgame splurge.

A couple of pretty decent mail days - a couple trades, some eBay and some Facebook group buys. These are the highlights

Bowman Draft color:

Some autos and other random Twins pickups:

And finally ... I got jealous of Doc Mitch's Donruss Trout pulls, so I found I found a couple of Greens and bought them up. Then I grabbed the final jumbo packs at Target and landed the blue.
