Will peyton manning break Brett Favre's record?

I saw a post on ebay of peyton and in the subtitle said:
"will break Favre's records" And I thought. ... could he? I say no. I think he could break the yardage mark...I think he's a bit far from the TD record though. I think he's starting to decline...his passes lacked power at times, and lots of ducks...his wr's and TE really bailed him out at times taking away the ball from defenders. I just don't think he'll be able to throw enough, long enough.

If Manning lasts 2 seasons he'll break both the yardage and TD marks set by Brett Favre. Yards he's behind about 7,000. TD's only 17. As for QB rating he won't beat it. INT he won't beat them. Super Bowl rings, we'll see.

I agree with Dave, he'll probably get them if he can produce at 2013 levels for another year or two. If he does, I guess we'll be seeing Topps put out a Flight to 508 insert for Manning....

I remember when major records were NOT broken almost annually!..... thank you PATS for the rules changes!

Barring an injury like Favre had in 2010, Peyton will easily break the TD record with just 18 to go.
But ... PM would need about 750 completions, 1,600 attempts, with 7,000 yards to break the rest of the records. He'd also have to throw 117 more pics and get SACKED 255 MORE TIMES!
