I seem to recall seeing this seller in another member's thread questioning the authenticity of a printing plate. I've never purchased one, so a little advice would be appreciated!

NYCCARDVAULT ebay seller - trustworthy?

They are back door issues from the bankruptcy. Legit? Possibly, but not pack inserted.
Kind of what I figured. Thanks!

RE: NYCCARDVAULT ebay seller - trustworthy?
He's making his own printing plates. He's taking scanned images of card, using a sepia tone, and then has the images put on metal sheets. You can tell its not real because the gold foil on the Edgerrin James would not appear on a real printing plate.
For example, look at this NT plate: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Tony-Jefferson-2...35d475bcf8 Notice there is no foil area where it appears on the real card? If it was a real Pacific printing plate, it would show a white "cloud" image where the name appears, instead of the gold lettered name.
Trying to finish these sets:
1999 Upper Deck Strike Force Quantum /100 2000 Score Complete Players Green/ Blue 2000 Leaf Piece of the Game Preview 4th Down Isaac Bruce 2008 Premier NFL Equipment /25 John Elway Let me know if you have any available.
Awesome information, Marinocollector, thanks!
Better make sure to report that guy lol

If your asking about the plate in your scan, I am pretty sure that Pacific never released any plates for Aurora, and that they destroyed their plates after the printing run was done
