This is exactly why I have taken a break from trading. Too many problems recently with trades. Three or four years ago I had no problems with making trades and getting cards delivered. I feel your frustration but there really isn't much you can do but communicate with the person and wait and see what happens...
Good Luck......

I hear people talking about having lots of problems, but I have never had 1 single issue in over 100 trades. I dont know if I have just gotten lucky or what.

Back to the thread. Too many variables at play here that we don't know. A lot of disputes, here and anywhere, can be resolved if people would just talk about them and if mistakes are made, own up and if need be, make some kind of restitution. Society today is so quick to jump to kneecapping before any thoughtful and reasonable attempts are made at resolving an issue. Good luck in getting your resolution!
This is true ... I totally effed up a trade I made with Steve here by accident, but he was cool with it the whole time, was polite about it, let me fix it, and ended up with a couple of nice extras for the trouble.

I am a fan of kneecapping as well, LOL

Sure, you can mill around and wait for responses that may never come, but why when you can call the police and have them involved. You pay taxes, so have the authorities protect your cards.
Note to self ... do NOT trade with reagle beagle 37 ... OK, got it.

I must be missing something. If people rip you off or you don't get your part of the deal, at what point do you contact the authorities? Weeks later? I'll admit, I don't trade anyway, but I'll be damned if I'm going to be screwed out of cards while I'm paying taxes and police to protect and serve.

Unless you're talking about a VERY significant trade, the police aren't going to do anything about it because unless you're from a really small town they simply don't have time.

They've got bigger fish to fry in most cases.

Note to self, do not trade with this person as they will call the cops right after the trade. I will have the police knock at my door 2 hours after say sir you need to give the card you traded now. Maybe Reagle has all there mail escorted by the Police.

That is my town (population 30,000+). Although it isn't bigger fish to fry, (though they are likely fishing on the river during Salmon runs) it is a total lack of resources as this right leaning community refuses to approve any ballot tax measures including law enforcement and jails.
To facilitate trading, please mark your wants in the "wants" column and "trade for" column in your Org.

That's not the first step. That would be my last avenue after exhausting all resources such as simple communication, to involving the mods that sort of thing. But also what can the police really do?? Your not trading with someone in your city, and many times not even your own state. They more than likely have 0 jurisdiction.

It is your right as a tax payer to give them a call and file a report but I see very little ever actually getting done about it.
