How do these two products stack up against eachother?
Obviously, 12 contenders has the big value rookies but the box price has driven up since release.
I like the 12 cracked ice cards because they are easier to see.
I am not a huge fan of the UPC code on the 13 contenders.
130 a box for 13 contenders is a bit steep for this class.
Over time it should deviate towards 100 or lower.
The RPS design on 13 stacks up well with 12, but 12 is still the best.
Overall, I pick 12 as the winner in terms of value, design and in terms of future value.
