Okay fess up, who else took part in the craziness tonight?
Within the past hour every 1/1 patch parallel was on auction individually for the 1999 Leaf Certified Gridiron Gear set. The last auction is now expired. There was only one card that I wanted, and I got it:

I was hoping to pay a lot less, but at least I got it for under $100.

Did anyone else partake in the bidding for any of these cards tonight?

I got one of the Elways (the one in the 1997 to current jersey). I also won a John Elway 1997 Playoff Contenders Red /25 and Leather Helmets Die Cut Red /25 tonight. Will post pictures of all three once I have them.

Always looking for Elway cards. Especially hard to find parallels and inserts from the '90s, i.e., any Leaf Mirror card or Donruss Elite parallel

wheeler281 got the Bettis for $277. It's a great card for PC or to eventually flip.

---

Beckett member jimmysmith82 got his Smith.
The 2 Dilfer collectors fought it out and one of them got it.
All 4 49ers went to the Arizona collector with RIce going for $458 and $565, Montana for $510 and Young for $356.
I think cgod got the Kaufmans
I got my two with for $202.50 each (which I was lucky because my max was $205.10 on both of these.)
The Keyshawn Johnson collector got his for $123
Nittany - Congrats on the McDuffie

There were many others I liked and I bidded on a couple of others as well, but didn't even come close to the final price.

This set is very attractive and is one of the 1st sets with NFL Logos (even if it was not pack inserted).

With 20+ years collecting, this is the most comprehensive single player collection in the world! Beckett lists 4000+ cards - I'm at 95% completion!

I reluctantly bought the Karim Abdul Jabbar.

I want to see one of these in person, and Jabbar has very few GU'd cards, so i figured, why not?
The thing that swayed me to buying it is it looks like a jersey from 1996 with the patches I have seen.
I got it for considerably less than my max. I won't lie, bid a lot of times on the auction to scare people off from shilling which everyone thinks happens with PWCC.
Trying to finish these sets:
1999 Upper Deck Strike Force Quantum /100
2000 Score Complete Players Green/ Blue
2000 Leaf Piece of the Game Preview 4th Down Isaac Bruce
2008 Premier NFL Equipment /25 John Elway

Let me know if you have any available.

--- kinda makes me feel like its a custom in a way!

Glad you all had fun, I would be in divorce court if I went crazy.
