I never thought I'd hit 2K. Seems like such a huge number.
Now I'm well on my way to 3K and if so, a reserved spot in Cooperstown
To celebrate my 2000th post, I thought I'd do a little contest!
As most of you probably know, I've been buying up a bunch of 2013 Elite Extra Edition cards. Card #25 is a die cut /200 aspirations card of Tucker Neuhaus, a shortstop prospect for the Brewers. (Not worth that much now, but who knows?)

Here are the Rules!
1) The first person to come the closest to guessing the serial number without going over wins that card, plus a bunch of other EEE cards and whatever else I may find!
2) in the event of a tie, the first person wins.
3) only one guess per person ... except for Aaron and his daughter Bella (because she's a huge Brewers Fan) and Phillies-Joe and his daughter Sierra (because it's my rules ) and to Joe's other 2 daughters ( so it doesn't cause a fight ... I have 3 daughters, too .... I know )
4) the contest is over when a) I happen to notice that someone hits the number exactly or b) when the thread reaches 200 posts (there's only 200 possible guesses ) or c) at 2:10pm EST on 2/10/2014 or d) when the Fat Lady sings

I guess if I saved used tinfoil and used tea bags instead of old comic books and old baseball cards, the difference between a crazed hoarder and a savvy collector is in that inherent value.
