I am not a Jordan collector myself, but I was out of the hobby for 15 years before randomly paying 20 bucks on a box of 92-93 Stadium Club. I hit a Jordan Beam Team and have been hooked ever since.
If you don't have a scanner you can post some pics by uploading to Photobucket from a smartphone if you have one. It is less than desirable, but it is a way of at least sharing some of your collection.
I believe the contests only happen during certain Customer Appreciation months, but I'm not sure. As for the Beckett tools if you enjoy trading online you should give the organizer a test run. It is a pain to set up initially as you add singles, but I am hook on it.
