I just started getting back into collecting a year ago. Topps and bowman are ok but I agree on the bowman platinum. They are nice looking cards half are prospects and if you want the whole set it is usually 100 stars and 100 prospects not 400 cards like other sets. As far as tops the nicest cards within budget are topps finest. Also check out panini prizm. Good luck.

Thanks steady, and to everyone that put in their advice. I've already noticed how good the community is here and working with someone whos a pertty major collector on this site is also nice. I'll make a new thread and let ya'll know what I pull out of the boxes. Next time I'll probably pick up a box of Bowman Platiums and a box of Chromes. One of the downfalls of living in Germany is that I have to order all my stuff online so it takes a week to get here.

Until Upper Deck gets their license back it's all Topps and Bowman for me. Panini Prizm looks like garbage with all the team logos photo shopped out.
