batting 1.000 with the bargain bin!

batting 1.000 with the bargain bin!
As most of you know, I've gotten some steals the past few weeks from the 10 dollar bargain bin...this time...I got it from the FIVE dollar bin (5 dollars ea or 20 for 5)

(and yes I know this isn't the football forum, but these were the other 2!)

I'm callin' HGH on you. All of a sudden your batting 1.000? Mmhmm, Suuuuurree. Last time you couldn't hit it out of the infield. I see how it is.....

All joking aside

That's pretty friggen epic indeed. What does this bin look like? Any cards from the 70s?
Looking to complete the 2013 Archives Mets fan favorite Au's (Just need Ron Darling) and 2014 Topps Gypsy Queen set mini base + SPs. Also working on 2015 Topps Chrome and updates. Please note that if you have less than 15 trades, I ask that you send first.

Great pick ups for that price. Even in VG or EX.

Those 3 baseball cards are definitely steals at $5 a piece, let alone the $4 you ended up paying by getting 5 cards.
Collecting John Stockton, Karl Malone, Ivan Rodriguez, Gary Carter & UF player rookie year cards.  Plus Jedd Gyorko rookie and prospect cards.

You have to be careful, because with vintage it's all about condition. The price will vary greatly based on condition. Keep in mind Beckett bases value for cards on condition, and the lower the condition the bigger the hit in value. I don't have a magazine handy, but they have a chart at the beginning of the price guide that shows percentage of book value to assign a card based on condition. For lower condition cards it drops pretty significantly down to 10% of book value. So while it may seem like a bargain to get a $100 card for $10, if the card is in poorer condition then you are actually paying full book value for that condition.
