should've done one more...2011 Timeless Treasures
Karma and irony can be quite hilarious can't they gentlemen lol...
As you've all read, the past few weeks I've busted at least 5 of those dang Timeless Treasures tins at my LCS without hitting a bloody thing!
I went in today...saw a stack and told the owner I'M NOT DOING THAT TODAY! NO MORE!
Well...a young couple came in...grabbed two tins...
FIRST TIN
....they hit the Colin Kaepernick laundry tag 1/1
it was gorgeous...so then they open the second tin
AND THIS SHOULDN'T EVEN BE POSSIBLE

That's how collecting is sometimes I guess. Sometimes you get the bear, sometimes the bear goes home with someone you don't even know lol

I know your pain, been there! 2001 SP Legendary cuts. Local gets two case plus six boxes.
I pick a case and hit Lloyd Waner cut. Buy four of the six boxes, zip on the cuts.
Go back the next day and walk in and asked if anything had come out of the other case and the two boxes. Well yes, the owner said. Customer bought one of the two loose boxes and hit Ty Cobb cut and then he took a box from the other case. That one box had the cut. Joe DiMaggio!
That's busting wax at its best or worst depending on what side of the break you are on.
Good luck if you buy the next tin.
