I got bored waiting for my case of Jumbo Bowman Chrome to arrive tomorrow and needed to mail off some eBay sales so I decided to hit Target and run a little challenge, which would be better: 2 blasters of Bowman Platinum vs 2 blasters of Prizm. What do you think?
Platinum:
Only base cards worthwhile were Wil Myers and Profar.
Barret Loux Auto (second one I've pulled from a blaster)
Prospect Refractors: Renato Nunez x2, Eddie Rosario x2 (way to vary)
Top Prospects: Polanco, Rendon, Fernandez, Cole
Cutting Edge: Votto, CarGon
Rookie Blue Refractor: Kershaw
Gold: Felix Hernandez, Kemp, Verlander, Mauer
Sapphire: CarGon
Ruby: Utley
vs.
Prizm
No base worth mentioning
Red Prizm: Weiters, CarGon, Will Clark, Alex Wilson, Cingrani, Rondon
Green Prizm: Ike Davis, Dunn, Band of Brothers- Verlander/Miggy/Prince
Fearless: Beltre, Harper
Band of Brother: Felix/Morse
Rookie Challengers: Cole
USA Baseball: Trout
High Number SP: Strasburg
If only for the Trout, I think the Prizm is the winner. Neither were too impressive though....
