1988 Donruss Cello Case Break
Just broke a 12 box cello case of 1988 Donruss

Here’s what I got

10,259 Base cards + 260 Bonus Cards = 10,519* total cards

Total Beckett OPG value: $1,154.05
(My cost $59.45)

Pulled the fewest: #648 Tim Teufel (x3)
Pulled the most: #160 Jack Lazorko (x33)

Best pull: #644 Tom Glavine RC (x23)

Forgot how bad Donruss collation was. 10k cards and only 3 complete sets!

’88 Donruss, putting the junk into junk wax

* trashed a handful of cards that came out of the pack creased.

At least you've got toilet paper for a while! Good luck getting 1/100th of the BV on that stuff, 88 Donruss is brutal.

Is that the one where the border design looks like super Mario plumbing?

I'd say it definitely has a Mario look to it.

Just proves what we all know, that beckett book value is a joke. That's why I never buy a beckett price guide because it's just a joke how bad their price guide is. And anyone that tries to sell at beckett book value is never taken seriously. Just use ebay prices for the real book value on cards.
