Agree with the micro chip but disagree with the de-clawing. If they do get out then they have no form of defense Just keep their claws trimmed

besides De-clawing is extremely painful for the kitties...trimming the claws with a toenail clipper is easy..1/8 of an inch trimmed off every month or 2 will do it

I have two cats. The white cat I got when I was in 5th grade and is 18 years old. The gray/white one I got while in college and is 4....he is a pain in the arse.

I actually trimmed them last night and it was painless. She pretty much just gave up and let me do it lol

Be wary of letting the cat around plastic stuff. Our cat had to have emergency surgery because some sort of plastic found it's way into his digestive tract and created a blockage. We're very clean and all of my packaging stuff, top loaders, etc... are kept to where he shouldn't have access but some how or another, they find a way to get into stuff anyway.

Little butt head this morning caused a crash of some type this morning while I was showering. I ran out to see what was going on. He took the lid completely off his litter box (Igloo style) exposing it so that I could see it needed scooping.
