So I opened up a little Platinum today and came across a Mike Piazza card. Was like, huh, what insert is this, didn't think they had any retired guys in there. Looked at the pic and it looks nothing like the Mike Piazza we all know. Started reading the back of the card and it says "Like his famous cousin of the same name..."

I understand father/son same name situations like Griffey Jr/Sr, Bichette Jr/Sr but was first time I came across a "cousin of the same name" pairing lol

I'm not a die hard prospects follower so was an interesting little find.

I did the same thing when I pulled a Piazza and only saw the back side of the card. I was confused for a moment lol

Yeah...luckily they look nothing alike, different positions, different signature, etc. It is a bit disheartening though for their to be a 2.0.
