If I wasn't moving in a few days I would help you out as I have a few of the numbered cards for Favre and the road to 420. But if your still looking in a few weeks I will try to help you out.

RE: Countdown to 3,000 Favres
Today's update (8/14/13) is all about my most recent eBay conquest.

I'm always looking for Favres on ebay. Over the last year or so, I stopped looking at the lots because more often than not, I had them all. I know it sounds like a good problem to have, but it kind of sucks. Well, very recently I happened to be skimming through when one of the cards in a 26 card Favre lot caught my eye.

1994 Topps 1000/3000 #22

I'd bid and lost on this card a few times. It was selling in the $10 - 14 range on eBay and I wasn't willing to go quite that high. I saw that there were a few other cards in the lot that I needed, so I put in a bet with a minute left to go. To my surprise, I won the lot for $18.50 + shipping. I spent just over $20 on the 26 cards, including one of the ones I was highly seeking.

Besides that card, I was fortunate enough to get these as well:

2007 Topps Co-Signers Changing Faces Gold Blue w/ Brandon Jackson /349
So many parallels, so little time.

Thought I had it. I was wrong.

1998 Black Diamond Premium Cut #PC24
Always loved the Black Diamond cuts. UD needs to bring it back if they ever get their hands on the NFL license again.

#2972 (28 to go)

1998 SPx Finite #174 /1250
The last base card that I needed for the 1998 SPx Finite Favres. Now I focus on the radiance cards.

Overall, it was a heck of a haul for $20. I wish it could be more like this all the time.

Thanks for looking.

Also realized that you were the one that bought my 2005 Donruss Classics Significant Signatures Silver #1/10 that I had to sell two years ago when money got unbearably tight. I found it funny.

It's a good thing I found another.

We can now start singing "It's a small world after all."
Man, I love this hobby.
Hey thanks for checking out my bucket. I still have a ton of scanning to do, LOL! Actually I'm not the person that bought that card off of you. I got that in trade last June (2012) on this site. How that person got it I'm not sure. But it's still a small world! And yes, it's great that you were able to find another one!

Love all the updates. You're going to hit 3000 in no time!

I'm just happy that it went to a Favre collector who appreciates it. I've been frustrated because I've been dealing with a trader who sent a message back that he didn't want to trade because he could "flip" the Favre cards I wanted so easily, and nothing I had was as flippable. That was a bummer for sure. This isn't HGTV and card collecting isn't houses. While some here may treat this like a business. I'd like to believe that the majority of us are in this for the right reasons, such as just loving it. Sorry for the rant.

Today's update is one card long, but it is pretty.

2008 SPx Winning Materials SPx #/149
I've always been a fan of SPx, right from the start. While the quality of the cards has gone down from year to year as jerseys and autos were introduced, I thought that the 2008 set was a trip down memory lane with the die cut design on the base cards. I was equally thrilled when I saw the above card, even though there are about 15 versions of the same card, ranging in number of jersey pieces, to swatches, to different words apparently. This is my second. I have a patch version /50 as well.

Thanks for looking.

2003 Finest Gold Refractor #3 /50
Working on buying a friend's Favre cards from him so he can work on his house. This was part of what I got today. This is a great looking card, even though I think the X-fractor version looks better. Think I'm going to be looking for that one very soon.
Ugh. AS I was adding this card, realized that there was a card in my database that I had to sell when funds were tight. Forgot to delete it. The countdown is back to 2973. 27 to go. Aaaarrrrgggghhhh!

It ain't happening again. The certain little lady that was with me at the time--the one that prodded for me to sell instead of her selling her designer handbags--is no longer around. The new lady actually likes what I'm doing and would probably kill me if I sold anything lol. But, hey, I'll extend you the same offer. I know you have at least 3,000 that I don't have lol.
