Topps new Redemption Program
#11

RE: Topps new Redemption Program
FML.... Just checked my redemptions and my 2013 Heritage Dual Auto Bumgarner/ Marichal says it has been shipped # 25, if it isn't that card I hope it is either a. Some other low number giants since I bought the redemption vs pulled in a pack, b. some thing I can use to get something else giants worth it, or c. Ike Davis...... Just kidding on the last one

RE: Topps new Redemption Program
To be honest its a nice idea that can be abused if need be. Personally I blame not only topps for failing to make sure that players sign cards on time but I blame MLB. The fact that they have allowed topps to continue its monopoly on this hobby is ridiculous. They need to level the playing field and force topps and the other companies to make good products to win over customers and getting rid of the massive amount of redemptions would be a good start.

RE: Topps new Redemption Program
In my case, the redemption for Kyle Weiland...he was in the majors for a while...maybe Topps is too busy going to the bank to worry about looking for him...don't care UD gets their license back...but Panini's products seem to take some thought.
As for Weiland or Ike Davis? Weiland is out of baseball with a lovely 0 and 6 record.

Career[edit]

Weiland attended the University of Notre Dame, where he played for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish baseball team. He was drafted by the Red Sox in the 3rd round of the 2008 Major League Baseball Draft.[1]

He made his Major League debut on July 10, 2011 against the Baltimore Orioles. He started and pitched 4+ innings, before being ejected for hitting Vladimir Guerrero with no outs in the 5th.[2] In his debut, he made several Red Sox firsts, namely: first New Mexico native to play with the Red Sox; first Red Sox player to wear #70 in a game and the first Red Sox player to be ejected in his first major league game. On December 14, 2011 he was traded to the Houston Astros along with Jed Lowrie for Mark Melancon[3] He earned a spot in the Astros' starting rotation at the beginning of the 2012 season.[4] Weiland was diagnosed with a right shoulder infection and was shut down for the rest of the 2012 season.
So...he may be back and turn his career around.
