I've always tried to chase only a few sets so that i do not get out of control with cards and end up with 30 sets with only a few cards of each. However, after reviewing the sets I've chosen to chase after, i realize that i may never finish these sets. So, I'm expanding.

Much like the set that i hold nearest and dearest to my heart (trilogy ice scripts) this set has been decided to be chased after a generous gift from a fellow trader. It was just sitting in his collection and he traded it to me. I must admit, at first it just went into the pile of Ice cards i'm collecting. But i kept bumping into it, looking at it, admiring it and eventually that little spark developed into a full blown fire. What sealed the deal was looking on the book values of cards and seeing that even the /50 patches are all within my bank account reach. The boner I've gotten from looking at other peoples thread set collections has made the decision even more desirable to want to do this. So. I'm now doing it. It's official. I just made an Excel spread sheet to keep track of this set. So, here's the announcement.

I wish I would have seen this earlier. I just sold a HUGE lot of 05-06 Ice Jerseys (a Big group of fresh ice, some acetate).

i have kind of been working on 05-06 ice set as well over the years. i opened 2 packs way back in 06 and the same thing happened, i kept seeing them... liking them... i dont have a huge amount maybe 12 mem cards, and 15-20 RC aas well as a bunch of base.

Man, I'm sorry. I cracked a case back in 2006. I sold 39 jersey cards and over 60 rookies :/ All in the last 2 weeks.
