In just about every game he shot below 50% from the field. A lot of times he took a large amount of shots to get points. In the sonics series, Pippen actually carried the team in the final game. That same game, Jordan didn't play that good (he shot 5/19 for 22 pts and had 5 turnovers). I loved Jordan's game but I'm a realist. His talent was phenomenal, but he was never above the game and he was definitely human.
I collect LeBron, Jordan, Kobe and anything that catches my eye.

And yet Lebron averaged 26 points 11 rebounds and 7 assists in these finals and people still gave him crap. Not to mention two triple.doubles.....and im a Jordan fan...

Did anyone ever say he wasn't human? I'm also very sorry, but he was definitely "above the game". The man's silhouette was recognizable world wide. He was the very definition of superstar. He was the face of the NBA, hands down. I never thought any of that was in question.
As far as making mistakes, I have not seen anyone say that he never made mistakes. Here's what people, or at least I said; 10 seconds left on the clock, do or die, Michael Jordan wants the ball and is taking the shot. Same situation, 95% of the time, LeBron James is looking to pass the ball.
That's a significant difference between the G.O.A.T and the heir apparent. One craved and thrived in crunch time, the other doesn't want the blame.

I dont see it as not wanting the blame i see it as lebron looking to.get his team involved first. Jordan always looked to score.first and team second
Look at game 6 lebron took over when needed and carried his team to a victory. He had 18 point in the 4th. He also had triple double. Lebron looks for the best play not just the play that is going to get him points like jordan did. If the best play is to pass then thats what he does. They are two completely different players and the only comparison is that mj is called the goat and people think lebron can be the next goat. Will he be? Who knows but that is the only reason they are even talked about in the same sentence.

I understand where you are coming from and see your point. On the flip side, Jordan owes a lot of his branding to David Stern. He was the reason behind individually marketing players.
The point I'm making is take a lot of people on here make it seem as though Jordan did everything right. He has looked very human when his team needs him most. Within his last 3 championships (18 games) he shot 50% or slightly better only 4 times. The stat lines that Jordan has put up- people would destroy Lebron for.
When Lebron was in Cleveland he had the ball in his hands at the end of the game EVERY TIME. He only made the right basketball (pass to the open man) play a couple times. Jordan has done the exact same thing a few times in his career. Remember Steve Kerr made a game winning shot in the finals. No one blamed Jordan for passing up the final shot on that play, but the standard changes for Lebron.

this is actually why i'm liking lebron more and more...his legacy was built on and will be remembered as "the distributor." i've heard the use of that name for him a number of times. it used to be bad, but now people are understanding that it's actually a good thing.
