Final Grade should have been a 9.5
I got these grades for a Lillard card below:
Set Name : 2012-13 Leaf Metal Faces of the Game Holo Blue
Player Name : Damian Lillard
Date Graded : Thursday, June 06, 2013
Centering Grade : 10.0
Corner Grade : 9.5
Edges Grade : 9.5
Surfaces Grade : 8.5
Autograph Grade : 10.0
Final Grade : 9.0
According to other posts the Surface is the lowest weighted sub score and this card should have been given a full 1.0 bump since the the center is 10 the corner is 9.5 and even the edges was 9.5. Do I have a valid re-submit?

No. The grade can't be higher than .5 over your lowest subgrade. There are exceptions, but the subgrades that your card received don't qualify for it.
Sorry.

What would the subgrades needed to be to qualify?

To have your card be a 9.5, it would have needed to have a Surface of 8.5, Centering 10, Edges 10, Corners 10. 10, 10, 10, 8.5 = 9.5.

The 8.5 really makes it difficult, yes. However, the 8.5 was on Surface, so maybe it's just a matter of cracking the card out and wiping it clean. Unless you can see an obvious reason why it got an 8.5 on the Surface.

I dont know but I think you need a broader margin to get a full point bump. Here I have 2 I just got back yesterday that got full points but the surface was way lower. I would have to do some searching to see if I got a full point on higher subgrades. To me there could be a legitimate argument for a 9.5 overall on your card.

Excellent input Jeff! Your explanation makes total sense as well as previous posts before you. I do believe the score is justified as a 9.0 as the surface does have a visible small dimple underneath the surface layer. It can't be felt but can be seen.

If the 8.5 was a 9 you would have had a 9.5. You were close
