Was going through what few of these I have when I noticed some have a textured finish with gold lettering and some have a smooth finish with silver lettering. Is one of these a parallel or is it the difference between hobby and retail?

Can anybody help identify these? I think the textured one is base.Neither one is numbered.

The textured cards are the standard 2007 base cards. The glossy cards come from 2007 (2008?) Upper Deck "team packs". I have Yankees and Red Sox packs. I tried to add to org but don't find them listed. What glossy do you have?

I got the same Yankees & Red Sox from a Wal Mart value box. Same problem, dont see them listed.

They are Fan Pack parallels and are not listed in the OPG. The UD Masterpiece cards are glossy instead of textured. The Future Stars and SP Legendary Cuts have different color foil and the Artifacts and base cards are the hardest to differentiate but I believe it is a bit thinner card stock.

Thanks for the info. Didn't notice the difference in anything but the Masterpiece cards but will go back & look. Guess I'll put them in my "Can't ID" box & hang on to them for a while.
