Grading Question

Grading Question
i've never sent a card in to be graded, but i've been thinking i might in the near future. question i have about this 2011 topp update diamond trout. the circle area in the bottom right (circled in yellow) has a small section of the foil print missing.

do you think that would hurt the grading?

RE: Grading Question
I'm in no way an expert, but I would say yes......

RE: Grading Question
As stated above I too would have to say yes. You would take a hit on surface grade. And depending on how hard a hit it could mean the difference between a 9 to a 8.

RE: Grading Question
on a modern card if you can see a large imperfection like that--I'd pass on grading it.

we go over cards with a jewelers loop and omnigrid to pre-weed out cards that aren't worth sending in.
