I purchased 3 cases (9 boxes) of 2012 Topps Five-Star for $2,400.

Seeing as it's an ultra high-end card, would you play it safe and sell the boxes to profit the easy grand (possibly more) or take the risk and break them open?

Yea $2400 is extremely cheap for 3 cases. I've got one case pre-ordered and its costing me $1399.95 for the 1 case.

open one box, if you dont do any good open another box. if you dont do any good on the second box, open the third one and hope you hit big. if you hit big on the second box, you will be happy, so go ahead and open the third box. so what i am saying is open all three, you could hit big and be happy.

I'd have to at least try my luck with a box! Plus, on the high end stuff like that i think u make ur money back at the end by selling what u "broke".. Its a tough decision though, yet i feel if u have the cash to purchase them, why not open them! lol
