I think that about sums it up... if you don't mind having a bunch of Wings cards. I think there are many Wings collectors that have been itching for a product like that after seeing a few Montreal & Toronto centric products, so the resale should be there

Yeah these ITG sets seem to go huge off the bat then die quickly. I said I was going to open some ITG this season, so here goes...er, when it gets here.

yeah, so the key is to get it right away and list the stuff on eBay immediately. Good luck with it - hope you get some good hits! If I was (a) still into new stuff and (b) still spending a decent amount of money on cards, I would probably drop about $500-1,000 on Motown Madness (between wax and singles)

2012-13 ITG Motown Madness $87
Supposed to be delivered today. Last tracking entry says it left Richmond, BC just after 11:30 last night. Richmond is 5-6 hours away, so I'm thinking it's sitting on a truck outside UPS Kelowna waiting to get unloaded and then delivered.

Whenever I get something shipped with tracking, I follow it on google earth. My packages get to see so much of this continent I never have, so I keep track. This one went from Chantilly, VA to Harrisburg, PA to New Stanton, PA to Spokane, WA to Redmond, WA to Richmond, BC and then here.
2 things:

1 - I have one real friend left from my pre/elementary school days (a few acquaintances). He moved met a girl from Virgina at college and is getting married. He found work in Virginia so he moved down there to Chantilly.

...

I don't care, I thought it was interesting

2: I was looking at the Appalachian range and it looks really, really weird from way out. I had to zoom right in to realize that's all farmland that's been cleared while the mountains have been untouched. Looking at it is remeniscent of crop circles. If you haven't looked at Eastern Pennsylvania on Google Earth, go now, just for a minute. It's kinda cool.

*sigh*
From what I can tell on the tracking, it made it as far as the local truck, rode around town all day and is now scheduled for tomorrow.
I hope they're screwing with me.

RE: Best Purchase?
Just finished talking to UPS Customer Service.

Did you guys know that when you look at UPS tracking it is completely meaningless? That's basically what I was told. You see if a package isn't scanned at a certain stop by a certain time, the system "autoscans" it as if it were there, even if it's not. Apparently that's what happened to my package. The system said, "Hmm, it should be in Kelowna, so I'll say it is" and it did this twice. Meanwhile, it could be anywhere between here and Vancouver, or it could have even fallen off the truck between here and Vancouver. That's right, even though the tracking shows it is in Kelowna, it's entirely possible that it's actually sitting in a river somewhere.

So remember that. UPS tracking is based entirely on assumption and where it should be, not where it actually is. No one in UPS has any idea where any package is at any time, they just assume they're on schedule.

I wasn't really mad about it before, but now I kind of am. I never would have expected a company like that to run so well solely on assumptions.
...and then it shows up. I'm happy now...very confused, but happy.
I will be breaking these later tonight and posting in the breaks section, if anyone cares.
