I think a really good comparision would be how "big" the market report was for 2013 topps compared to 2012 topps. Out of curiousity, which one was bigger and by how much. I think that makes an interesting percent to keep up with 2013 as a market comparision.

The initial pricing does seem way overinflated.

For instance I have a 2013 Topps Emerald #294 which is a Cabrera/Trout/Beltre card that they have valued at 12x what the last 2 or 3 have actually sold for.
