Hey guys, I've been out of the hobby for a bit. You know how life goes, get busy with other stuff and what not. I've been going to school, in my first year at NAIT for my business degree, and always spending time with the lovely girlfriend.
After selling a few iPods on ebay, I wasn't sure what to do with the number in my paypal account. I decide to check eBay and see what new boxes are going for. Ater seeing prices, I just had to look at breaks of YouTube. Seeing what was coming out of the new products, I just couldn't resist!

Next day I order a box of 2012-2013 Artifacts, and a box of 07/08 Heros and Prospects. Bought these from the seller No ebay spam, and I can't wait to get these Thursday (says UPS tracking website).

Any who, I was looking through my old supplies and realized I didn't have any Jersey Card top loaders...well I knew I'd need some for what was coming in the mail, so I stopped by Wayne's Sports Cards in Edmonton. I've never been in the store, but I was definitely impressed. Big store, wide selection, lots and lots and lots of single and boxes. I definitely will return here.

I find what I need, and then walk past the boxes. Lots to choose from, but I figured the 06/07 O-Pee-Chee hobby box for $25 was a sweeeeet deal.
The owner grabs the box and informs me that that was the sticker price of some other product that was mislabeled. The box should've been $35, but he let me have it for the $25 anyways.

Feeling bad, I grab a couple packs of 2012-2013 Artifacts.

From the artifacts I get:
Jordan Nolan rookie card, 923/999
Brenden Morrow Team Canada 636/999
Kinda disappointed, but I love this product. The designs are sweet, and the inserts seem to be nice, I'm pretty excited for my box to arrive later this week. Depending on my feelings of the box, I may go after the base set, or maybe some insert set, not sure yet.

The OPC I just had to get. Loved the product 6 years ago, and for the price of a blaster box, why not?
