The original Metal Universe design was so flashy and overblown it was awesome. Looking forward to seeing the new ones!

I just don't understand why these companies can't come up with something new... why do they have to keep ripping off 10-15yr old designs? Really disappointed that they canceled Upper Deck Series 2. Its the only set (series 1+2) that I collect. But, I guess that just means next years Young Guns are going to be loaded like they were in 05-06.

To bad the price on Fleer Retro is so high. UD missed the boat on that one thinking hockey collectors will dish out $300-400 for an insert driven product. We are not the same type of collectors as basketball collectors.

I think most of the Fleer Retro cards are ugly.
Apparently there will be some SPx and Series 2 in the SPA release.
