RIP Stan Musial

RIP Stan Musial
Was just gearing up to watch the Blues opener tonight and they just broke the new that Stan "The Man" Musial passed away earlier today at 92 years of age. I'm not seeing the story up on ESPN or any other top sports sites yet so it must be breaking news. Stan was the greatest Cardinal to play the game and has represented the franchise up to his final days. I actually have the same birthday as Stan (Nov. 21st). It'll be sad not getting to see him out there on opening day this year Sad

Rest In Peace Stan!

I literally just saw this at the bottom of ESPN as "Breaking News". I'm moved to emotion by this. I will miss seeing him represent the franchise with the incredible dignity he brought to the Cardinals and the game of baseball. We have all lost a true legend of the game today.

Yeah, it's def an emotional loss for Cardinal Nation. Even at his age, he never missed the opening day ceremonies and was always out there for the parade. Baseball lost one the true ambassadors of the game today.
