Here are some recent additions to my HOF collection. Just coincidence, but three catchers in this posting. I do try to throw in players that rarely get mentioned here. A few people didn't know who Zach Wheat was until my last post.
Ernie Lombardi - Anybody who's been to Great American Ballpark has probably seen his statue near the gate.
Gabby Harnett - considered greatest catcher until Bench.
Michey Cochrane - career was shortened due to hit in head by pitch. Served in Navy during WWII along with Bill Dickey and Yogi Berra.
Frankie Frisch ("The Old Flash") - One of the best second baseman, but was part of Veterans Committee that voted in some questionable players into HOF.
Nolan Ryan - baseball through his foundation
